Hip-To-Be-Square

Little munchkin has a bung hip, it appears. Mild Displasmia or somthing or other. I dont know. I will wait for Annie to comment. Basically, Charlotte needs to wear a brace, which will make her hip straighted up, cause at the moment, its not pointing in the right direction. We suspected it was the case the minute she was born, because her foot turned inwards, but the doctors told us to wait in case it corrected itself. She's not going to like being restricted. Poor munchkin.

Awww - poor little thing! I had the same thing (both hips for me), but I'm certain they've made many improvements in the whole process since my day. Still in all, I think Charlotte's mommie and daddy will be busy making quite a few decisions. One good thing is the amazing resilience and adaptive powers of little ones ... I'm certain Charlotte will be into everything just as soon as she can!

No! Dont say that. Annie already has issues about me posting pictures of charlotte on the web (cause of internet kiddie creeps etc).

Ummm... this one is okay, right?

... darnnit. This one is just so cute though, cause the little thing she is doing with her mouth is EXACTLY what annie does!!!! That little on the side smirk.

So cute!

Hehehe .. this pic should be OK!

By the way, I've posted on Charlotte's blog
(http://www.charlottes-corner.blogspot.com) now, and you basically had the hip thing right, with the exception of the foot turning thing. I asked, and it has nothing to do with it. She doesn't do that much these days at any rate, but apparently it's just a baby thing.

Loving the cows, very a-mooo-sing!

A 35 year old ( now ) daughter of a great friend of mine had this problem and she had to have a brace too! she looked like a frog in it but fitted onto her mums hip a treat. She has never had and problems since it was discarded when she was about four years of age. so," No worries mate" (if thats the right way to say it):o))
